What is in a Galvin Green?
Perhaps the primary advantage of this product is its continually evolving technology embedded in each jacket and trouser. All is equipped with Gore Tex, a highly specialized, highly water resilient fabric that works like magic. Instead of letting the water get absorbed, it actually repels it by letting it form droplets on the surface.
Galvin Green use this material alongside other tough fabrics all structured in a special multi layer concept. Just as you thought that all these materials make it uncomfortable and sticky, this garment is actually breathable and easy to wear. It is as if it follows your every move and swing, no squeezing edges.
The Gore Tex is infused with DWR (durable water repellent), the actual substance that helps keep the water out. It is recommended though to keep high maintenance of the garment to aid it extends its life span. You could wash it in a normal 40 under a machine. However, never apply fabric softener or bleach. These chemicals could damage the resilience property.
